Proof of Affection

Sol Vega is a baker with no patience for charm, and she's still short of the money for a bakery of her own. Owen Thayer has plenty of charm, and a family foundation that needs a showpiece for its Christmas gala, something people will open their wallets for. He fell for her a year ago. She says she can't stand him. Nobody who has seen them together believes her. She takes the job anyway, because the money is real.

The only kitchen big enough is at the Thayer family's lake house. Then a snowstorm closes the roads, and the deadline doesn't move.
